What to Expect with our Window Cleaning Service:
Our primary focus is to clean all accessible windows, frames and sills to remove dirt that can be removed by a reasonable amount of agitation from our water fed pole brush using specially filtered pure water. As part of this process, your windows will be left wet, but thanks to the use of this pure water, this will eventually dry to leave a clear finish.
Should your windows contain items which cannot be removed via this method, such as paint marks, construction residue, etc this will need to be assessed, discussed and a price will be provided for any of these and other types of restorative works which we feel we are able to provide you with.
If you have not had your windows cleaned for an extended period of time, they are in particularly poor condition or if you have had a traditional window cleaner before using our services, please be aware that It may take a couple of cleans to fully realise the benefit of our pure water cleaning service. Common sources of spotting such as dirty dripping vents, detergent residues (from previous traditional window cleaning) and so on should reduce with each regular clean that we carry out. If during this period of time you are unhappy with any results, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Scheduling:
We will aim to contact you at least the day before to inform you of our attendance.
For Window Cleaning, we generally operate on an 8 weekly service (unless agreed otherwise with KY Pure Clean). Naturally, this schedule may vary, and we may need to attend earlier or later than scheduled, or need to reschedule an appointment.
Weather / Rain Guarantee:
We endeavour to work in all weather conditions, including the rain & cold. However, there may be occasions where we choose not to work in specific weather conditions, and this will be at the discretion of KY Pure Clean. Your appointment will be rescheduled.
Thankfully rain is very close to pure water, so we are confident in the results that will be achieved even on a rainy day. However, to set our customers minds at rest, we are pleased to offer a 24 hour rain guarantee. If within this time period, you feel your windows have been affected by the rain, please get in touch and we will be happy to clean the affected window(s) free of charge, as long as you have notified us within 24 hours of our clean.
Payment Terms:
We require payment upon completion of works, via Bank Transfer or Cash. Please note, full payment is required before we carry out any further cleaning services.
Access:
Please ensure that we have safe access to all required areas on the day of our visit. Please also notify us of any access arrangements we need to be aware of (i.e. how to access the rear of property, any gate codes, etc).
If we are unable to fully carry out our cleaning service of your property due to us not being provided adequate access, then at our discretion we will either:
a) reschedule the appointment
b) skip appointment until next scheduled clean
c) carry out the clean where we do have access and charge a fee that KY Pure Clean feel is appropriate
d) make other arrangements with you
Obstacles & Inaccessible Windows, Gutters, Fascias, Soffits or Conservatory Roof:
Please ensure we have full, safe access to your windows (or gutters, fascias, soffits, conservatory roof), ensuring that any obstacles are removed prior to our visit, for instance plant pots/items being removed from window sills along with furniture being relocated away from windows. If you are unsure whether an item needs to be moved, please discuss this with us in advance of our visit.
If we feel that a window is inaccessible at the time of our visit for any reason, we will continue to clean the remaining windows that are accessible, and the full price will remain payable. This also applies to any inaccessible Gutters, Fascias/Soffits and sections of the Conservatory Roof.
Pets:
We love animals, however we would kindly ask that any pets are kept inside whilst we access your property.
Damages:
We cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage to your property including windows, frames, fascias, soffits, gutters and conservatory roofs or if our cleaning methods & equipment highlights or exacerbates a pre existing problem (i.e. flaking paint, loose or weakening decorative window bars/lead, loose/damaged trickle vents, loose/worn/damaged handles, loose, worn or rotting wooden frames, loose/damaged gutter clips, brackets and other aspects of guttering, and any other items where wear and tear has contributed to the damage taking place during our clean).
Our brushes are specially designed to prevent scratching to the glass. We will thus not be held liable for any scratching to the glass, and will assume that this was pre-existing damage.
Please note, once your gutters are cleared, in some cases, the weight of the debris that the gutter was holding can result in the guttering move and thus become loose from the joints/seals. Once cleared, this may result in the gutter leaking until it is repositioned back into the seal, or repaired appropriately. This will be your responsibility to organise & pay for any necessary repairs after our works have been completed. KY Pure Clean do not undertake gutter repairs, and are not responsible for any maintenance related issues and subsequent repairs required.
Cancellation of Services:
We operate a 3 clean minimum service for Window Cleaning. If you wish to cancel our service prior to the 3rd clean, payment for any remaining visits will remain fully payable and is due upon date of cancellation.
After the 3rd Clean, should you wish to cancel our regular window cleaning service, we require you to advise us of this in writing at least 7 days before the next clean is due, after which KY Pure Clean reserves the right to fully charge the next scheduled clean.
Please note, should we decide to not implement a 3 clean minimum service to you for our Window Cleaning service, this would be at KY Pure Clean's discretion.
All other services will be subject to a minimum cancellation notice period of 48 hours, after which KY Pure Clean reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of at least 50%.
Termination of Services:
KY Pure Clean reserve the right to terminate any agreement we have with you at any time, for any reason.
Pricing:
Our pricing/estimate is not a fixed fee and may be subject to increase at any time. We will inform you of any changes before we carry out our next scheduled cleaning service.
Complaints Procedure:
It’s our goal to ensure that each and every customer is satisfied with the service we have provided. However, If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work, we kindly ask you to contact us within 24 hours of our service being carried out, and we will do our best to come to a swift resolution.

We reserve the right to make amendments to these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
